I am a New Englander somehow transplanted to an old schoolhouse in SE Pennsylvania

After service in the Coast Guard, I worked as an electronic technician before going back to school, eventually getting my hard-earned PhD in Geology.

I don't see the glass as half-full or half-empty, instead I want to know who is leaving dirty glasses around with water in them and what are we going to do about it.

My wonderful wife and loyal dog tolerate my antics, Polish stubbornness and Irish temper.
As of March '13 we now have two happy little guys named Joe and Kevin.
